The Erwin Gomez Salon and Spa is the flagship salon for this nationally-renowned make-up artist. The entry and retail area are composed of curved red cherry walls which envelope the patron and wrap the space in a dream-like atmosphere, while at the same time alluding to the flames of the dragon. The visitor's path to the spa takes place within this sensual and organic world.

Once inside the salon, the environment is clean and minimal, with a central "runway" created by a lower ceiling and recessed lighting that guides the visitor toward the massage rooms at the back. The path to these rooms ends in an indoor/outdoor waiting area which culminates in a zen-like garden.

Texture and lighting are the key features in this new spa. Cove lighting will highlight the edges of suspended drywall ceilings, which fold over each other accentuating depth in the space. Glass planes containing silk-screened images serve as both display areas and space dividers. Some walls are smooth with a high-gloss finish, while others are heavily striated, recalling the bark of a tree. The front display window is lit with LED that will change color as desired for the content of the display, and the massage rooms have blue glowing circular ceilings, representing the tranquility of heaven.
